Time will tell if the marsh will heal itself. Right now there are large
dead areas. Its very subsceptible to erosion with no living roots to hold
things together and insufficient rainfall to wash out the salt from the
storm surge and saltwater intrusion from drought...

Them or the marsh... Good news is I might have beach front property... For
awhile, then it'll be offshore property...

Rita did all the damage on the southwest side... I'm sure there have been
many, only problem is that the coast used to be alot further out back
then...
