They are springing back nicely. (Unlike New Orleans! Wonder what the
difference is? Huh I don't know!) I am from there and my family still lives
there. There were a ton of trees down and houses hit but all in all (with
the exception of many business sign still down) back to normal.

I live an hour down the road in Lafayette and get over there once every
couple of weeks. Also get to New Orleans and with the exception of the
French quarter it still looks like a bomb went off.

I know Tommy and his family from Toledo Bend. They used to own a marina at
Red's Point. Now his a ballistics expert for the Sheriff's Dept...

Alice, I reset my newsgroup to geaux back to find something and I came
across this reply above...

The Tommy and Ivan Harless I kneaux, are brothers, Ivan used to be a
school teacher...

Both have now built homes on the family property there...

My dad and I each had trailers there at Red's Point (their father's
place) for many years. Then we left there for about 15 years before my
parents bought a place on Falcon Drive north of Red's Point on Military
Cove...

They've since sold that after several years and now have a home on
Spring Bayou where they now live...

Small world indeed... Tell "Uncle" Ivan, Darrel said HI...
