Does anyone here remember radio personality name Johnny Jano?
What ever happen to him ? the last time I remember he was working at a radio
station in Beaumont, Texas.

Johnny Jano died 4 months after his 50th birthday.
on January 20 he had a heart attack in beaumont, tx and died 3 days later.

I remember Johnny Jano well from KLOU Radio in Lake Charles where he was the paramount DJ. As a youth, his station was the best, playing all sorts of good Cajun music, R & B music, and rock n' roll and all the popular songs of the times. I remember his wife Lee too, she was very pretty. Johnny was surrounded by music constantly---that was his life and I appreciate him sharing it with so many teens of the 60's. Jack Ware
